Well I have given myself a new challenge. I am giving up sugar and alcohol for a whole month. I think the biggest challenge will be the sweets, especially since Halloween is right around the corner, and I definitely have a weak spot for candy corn. So I guess I will just have to live vicariously though pictures of sweets. This is what I wish I could have right now!

Okay I will admit that there is no way I will ever do a regular flower arrangement with bits of babies breath in it. So not happening. However I WILL use babies breath if it is all alone and in some major bulk quantities. I promise it looks cool, especially for winter weddings. Let me just illustrate what I am talking about:

Okay I have found my new favorite calligraphy company, Plurabelle Calligraphy. Not only do they have the most beautiful work, but they can make stamps of their work for things like return addresses and phrase stamps. I totally want to get a return address stamp for my business! Just look at their beautiful work!

Oh my I do love a southern man! And lucky for me I have some handsome ones in my family. I did come across this wedding from Southern Weddings and I love how the groomsmen are dressed. Now don’t get me wrong, a man in a suit or a tux is always a fine thing to see, but how handsome are these guys?!?

The wedding I have this weekend, is going to be really fun. Yet another great couple and some really fun decor. I am pretty excited to see the final product. One of the fun details of this wedding, is including not just peacock feathers, but also bringing the colors of the feathers into the linens. So in anticipation of the wedding, I thought I would share this inspiration table I did a couple years ago. I have to say peacock feathers sure can lead to some great decor.
Real Wedding: Jessica and Chris
I am practically bouncing in my seat with excitement about sharing this wedding with you. I love everything about Jessica and Chris’s wedding, and for them to really allow me a lot of freedom on the decor on this one, was amazing. There is just so much I can say about this wedding, but I really think the photos from Hillary Maybery speak for themselves. But a few thank yous first! Jessica and Chris, all I can say is you guys are awesome and thank you for trusting me to recreate your vision for the wedding. Lisa and Marty, thank you for allowing me and my girls to practically camp out at your house for a week. If only every parents of the bride were as cool as you guys, and had such a fantastic wedding location. And finally to my girls, this was A LOT of work and you guys pulled through like champions, I could not do this job with out you! Okay on to the pictures……

I really like this unusual photo shoot from Magnolia Rouge. On one hand it is very organic and vintage, but then they toss in the sequin ribbon on the napkins, and the super cool ruffled cake. And not to mention the color combination of copper and purples. I must say this could be a great pallet for an entire wedding.
