Easter is this weekend, and I love this holiday. There is just something so sweet about kids and Easter Egg hunts, not to mention the fantastic candy that goes along with this holiday. This Easter photo shoot from The Pretty Blog, is such a fun new way to have an Easter brunch. I love all of the shades of blue!

Yesterday was the first day of spring, and here in the mountains we didn’t wake up to a happy spring morning, but 4 inches of new snow. So I am hoping these adorable spring photos from Wedding Chicks, might help the weather get the hint!

Vintage Irish Wedding
I thought the best way to kick off the weekend of Saint Patrick’s Day, would be with a beautiful Irish wedding. This wedding from 100 Layer Cake is one to saver. Could you even imagine getting married on the grounds of this beautiful castle? And how about those giant Irish Wolfhounds, to die for!
Gobble Gobble
Some how I have just baked, in one day, more then I have in my ENTIRE life. 2 pumpkin pies, a pecan pie, a banana cream pie, coconut cupcakes and 2 flavors of whipped cream, and all from scratch!! And you know what, I kind of liked it, maybe baking is my next calling! But seriously everyone have a fantastic Thanksgiving and I will be back on Monday. And oh yea, GO DUCKS!!!!

So let’s start showing off some winter weddings and some holiday flowers! And to start us off, here is a great winter inspiration from Green Wedding Shoes.

This year we will be participating in a Christmas market in December. As soon as I have more info I will be sure to let you know. But one of the things I am making are glass Christmas wreaths. So to promote them we had a little photo shoot with Nina Fox Photography, and here is the sneak peak of what is to come!

So this weekend, every year, our town creates a holiday celebrating moving grazing sheep from the high mountains to the southern parts of Idaho. There are all kinds of lamb specials at the restaurants, sheep dog trails and to top it off they walk a couple thousand sheep down Main Street. Honestly after seeing this spectacle my entire life, I’m not totally amused by it, however the tourists and kids love it. So if you are here for the sheep have a great time!

Well I am from Idaho after all, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone when I tell you about Wagon Days. Basically it is the worlds largest non-motorized parade in the world. Tens of thousands of people flock to town to watch this on Saturday. Now I can totally understand why someone who has never seen this parade would love it, however I am going on 34 years of it. So what will I be doing this Saturday? Watching football of course!!!!! GO DUCKS!!!

Happy 4th of July everyone! I am so excited to be enjoying my day with so much of my family. I have my sister, her family, my aunt and her family, and my Grandad all in town for this one! We are having a huge family BBQ followed by the rodeo and fireworks. I am pretty excited about it all. So to celebrate this super fun day, here is a pretty backyard wedding from The Sweetest Occasion. This sure would be a fun way to celebrate the fourth!
