Fall Flower Table

The Wedding Chicks blog happens to be one of my very favorite blogs out there.  They always have beautiful weddings, DIY ideas, and just all around the best posts.  And here is a perfect example! I love this fall table setting, it is so beautiful.  There is just something so rustic and romantic about fall flowers….

Golden Harvest Shoot

This beautiful harvest wedding shoot from Magnolia Rouge, is just simply wonderful. The colors are gorgeous, the linens from La Tavola are amazing, basically it’s just perfect. This would be a perfect late fall wedding.

Fancy Fall Wedding

I LOVE this fall wedding so much! It has the most amazing details ever, and they are such easy details too.  Such a great way to add that little something special to any wedding.  But you have to go to Ruffled and look at all of the other details that I just couldn’t include.

Sneak Peak: Rian and Chris

I just had to post these pictures from my wedding this past weekend.  My good friends, Chris and Rian, got married on a warm sunny day surrounded by their friends on Saturday.  I was more then fortunate to be able to plan and create the decor for their wedding, and lucky for me, the extraordinary Kristin Cheatwood photographed the entire thing.  So here is a little sneak peak until you get to see the entire wedding!

It’s officially time!

Yes it is officially September, kids are back at school, and fall is in the air.  So that must mean it is time for fall themed weddings! I LOVE fall weddings, and I am so happy that I have three of them this year.  I love everything about them, the food, the flowers, the leaves, everything! So to start the fall celebration here is a beautiful wedding from Grey Likes Weddings.  This wedding incorporates everything I am loving.

Martha is back….

It happens 4 times a years, and today was the day.  I arrived to my mail box to find the newest edition of Martha Stewart Weddings.  I feel a little like a kid at Christmas when I see the new one. And this issue didn’t disappoint. Here are just a few of the things I liked most.

Fall is in the air

The weather is definitely turning, and I am willing to admit that I do love it a bit.  I very much do not want to see snow any time soon, but I do love wearing shorts and t-shirts during the day, but there is something nice about a yummy soft sweater at night.  If only fall lasted a longer then it does.  So keeping in the fall spirit, here is a beautiful inspiration shoot from SMP and Amy Majors Photography.

A Fall Wedding Inspiation Shoot

I gave you a couple sneak peaks last week, as well as our inspiration board, and now here are the pictures!  I am so happy how they all turned out.  Hillary Maybery and I had talked forever about doing a shoot like this, and finally our schedules worked out.   We were so lucky to have newly weds Stephanie Zack act as our models, and Zack was such a sport!  In addition we collaborated with a few other local vendors that make this shoot happen.  I have featured a few cakes on this blog by Amy Anderson, but this is the first pictures I have gotten of her fantastic wedding cakes.  Also my mother Terry, who owns Bellissimo was nice enough to not only let us take items out of her store but come and help style the shoot. Jamilynn from Vertu did Stephanie’s hair and make up, Suzy, owner of Deja Vu, allowed us to take out the fox stole as well as vintage jewelry, and finally Max Monahan captured it all on film.

As for my part, I of course did the flowers, and I was so excited to get lucky and get peonies for the pictures.  Its a rare thing to see this time of year, but with all the other fall flowers they looked great.  I loved doing this photos shoot and Hillary and I have decided to do more, so if you have a great idea for a shoot let me know and maybe we will turn it into reality!  And as always, thanks everyone for all the help it turned out better then I could have imagined.

Just the begining….

Didn’t I tell you the pictures from our photo shoot were amazing!?!  Get the first look on Hillary Maybery’s website and then next week I will have even more pictures of the shoot.

Sneak Peak: Wedding Photo Shoot

Our photo shoot the other day when so well, and our bride and groom, Stephanie and Zack were so unbelievable.  Hillary is busy editing the hundreds of pictures we took, and we can’t wait to show off our photo shoot next week.  But for now here is a quick peak as the behind the scenes set up.

Hillary and Max very hard at work!  And Jamie Lynn in the background doing an excellent job of “creating the sunset” as Hillary would say.

Yes that is my mothers dog, Grace,  standing on the table while Hillary tries to shoot details.
