Mele Kalikimaka

Mele Kalikimaka, in case you don’t know means Merry Christmas in Hawaiian.  Well here in Ketchum the temperature hasn’t gotten over 10 degrees in a few days, so I am ready to pack my bags and head for the islands! And what better way to get me excited for my wish trip to Hawaii, then this beautiful wedding from SMP.

Travel Time

Well this wedding just seems appropriate since all day today I will be traveling.  I have to say the trek from Hawaii to Idaho sure is a long one.  And am I really ready to leave the beach? NO! NEVER! But its time to get back to the real world.  I do love this wedding from Green Wedding Shoes.  First off who get permission to have their wedding on a runway, and second, how freaking cool is this! Talk about leaving the traditional wedding scene, and I LOVE it!

Aloha Beach….

I am so sad to be saying good by to the beach, as this is my last day here in Hawaii.  the vacation was fantastic and the wedding was beautiful. I sure can’t wait to come back soon…….

Off to the beach….

I wish I was off to the beach today, but I will be in 2 weeks!  One of my very best friends is getting married in Hawaii, so I will be off to Maui.  But until then I am working on my tan, and I am basically packed already.  So to keep in the spirit, here is a beautiful wedding, from SMP, in Puerto Villarta.  I love how they used tin cans to hold the flowers.  So Cool!

Real Wedding: Rikki and RJ, Part 2

Here are some more detail shots from the wedding. Stay tuned for more pictures of the bridal party, the reception, and all the other fun!  These first pictures are of the cocktail hour, where we had a Hawaiian Trio serenading the guests.  And the guests were asked to fill out a wishing card for Rikki and Rj, and hang the wishes on this wishing tree.

After the cocktail hour guests were ushered into the tent, where CK’s Restaurant, catered an abundant feast for the guest.  And the dinner was followed up with hours of dancing.  Please enjoy, and again thank you Hillary Maybery for sharing the first of these detail shots!

I do also have to share some shots of the candy buffet, I have to say I have never seen people have so much fun attacking this huge amount of candy and sweets!!

Last but not least I want to send out a huge thank you to my staff and all of the other vendors who worked so hard on this wedding. I could not do my job without you all and your support.  Thank you so much!!

Real Wedding: Rikki and RJ, Part 1

As promised here are the beginning of the photos from this past weekends incredible wedding.  Rikk, RJ, and their families were some of the nicest people I have ever worked with and they made this wedding an absolute joy to plan.  Check out these pictures by Hillary Maybery, and stay tuned for many more to come!!!
