Spring has Sprung, or at least tried

Yesterday was the first day of spring, and here in the mountains we didn’t wake up to a happy spring morning, but 4 inches of new snow.  So I am hoping these adorable spring photos from Wedding Chicks, might help the weather get the hint!springtimeweddingideas brunchwedding frenchmacaroons outdoorwedding3 springweddingdecor theweddingchicks

Pretty Flowers and Sweet Treats

Doesn’t this post from SMP just get you so excited for a warm spring. Pretty flowers and all of these treats, makes me wish I was at this photo shoot! This is totally my favorite time of year for flowers, with the tulips, peonies, and lilac, how can you go wrong.

Simply Sprintime

This table scape from Special Moments, is excellent.  I love the bright colors, and especially the great use of the green bottles. And whats even better is that this table idea, if you used peonies only in season of course, is great for when you are working with a budget. Bright colors are the way to go this year!

A Pretty Spring

I know that the rest of the country is having crazy and some scary weather right now.  And I have to say here in Sun Valley, we are no exception.  We have had the coldest spring I have ever seen.  In fact tonight and the rest of the week it is supposed to snow.  I am not a happy camper about this situation.  So I thought theses beautiful spring pictures from Once Wed would help cheer us all up.  Enjoy….

Spring in the city

This New Your City spring wedding is so beautiful.  It takes a lot for me to really find wedding flowers beautiful and unique, but the Brooklyn florist, Saipua, did an amazing job of capturing the most beautiful spring flowers.   And if you haven’t been seeing the invitations by Rifle Design, you maybe living under a rock.  Happy Spring and enjoy!

Martha Time Again….

Spring time is coming, and with Spring comes the newest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.  And as the queen of weddings, she had some really good stuff this season.  Here are four of my favorites.

I love this combination of powder blue and nude.  I think it is such a clean and simple look, and yet looks super elegant!

I love these lemon-meringue kebabs! How much fun would these be on a giant dessert table.

This is the best idea for escort cards.  I might change it up a bit and do the drinks in mason jars, just in case the wind picks up.

You can really make this special if you have an old handkerchief from a grandmother, or a baby blanket of the bride or grooms.

Hurry Up Spring…….

Doesn’t this little photo shoot from The Sweetest Occasion, just make you long for spring time??  I LOVE spring flowers, they are by far the best flowers of the whole year.  For all you brides out there, all the other seasons are beautiful, but if you want to have the best flowers, get married in the spring.
