Real Wedding: Joanna and Jamie
The wedding of Joanna and Jamie, this winter, was such a unique one. Sometimes people forget that when they have a wedding with fewer people, they actually get to have the wedding in more unique places. This wedding was no exception. One of our towns’ most beautiful galleries, the Gail Severn Gallery, allowed us to hold it there. The artist who was showing was the renowned, Marcia Meyers, who works with such rich and fantastic colors. Both Joanna and Jamie both wanted to take advantage of this, and really incorporate the colors into the flowers and linens. What can I say, SMP does find the best weddings ever, and not just weddings themselves but anything and everything related to weddings. I found it only appropriate to show off this winter photo shoot, from the event company of Distinct Occations, as here in Sun valley we have just gotten 2 feet of snow. I just love when I have winter weddings, they really have the best pictures!

Well the snow has fallen and it is time to get in the mood for some winter weddings. I have 2 in the next few months and I can’t wait to share them with you. They are both going to be so different but both beautiful in the snow. And of course the couples are so much fun, but you’ll have to wait a bit for those photos. For now I thought I would get the season started with a wedding in Sundance, UT, straight from the wedding ruler Martha Stewart.
